BDS France is pleased to learn that Eau de Paris, the municipal agency operating the Paris water service, will not be renewing its contract with the Wassermaxx company, which has been bought up by Sodastream. According to Eau de Paris, the non-renewal of the contract is due to "technical" reasons. Sodastream is a company implanted in the Israeli colonies, in violation of international law.

Sodastream is a company implanted in the Israeli colonies, in violation of
international law. BDS France had raised this issue with Eau de Paris in
November 2013 (see the letter below).

BDS France is delighted that companies complicit in the colonisation of
Palestine are losing contracts, whatever the reasons, and it will continue
to challenge such companies until the State of Israel complies with
international law and the respect for human rights.
