Major boycott of Israel victory as PSI congress adopts boycott resolution

One of the largest international trade unions, the Public Services International (PSI), at its recent World Congress voted to fully support and advance the Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign. The PSI World Congress also adopted a resolution to promote and participate in Israeli Apartheid Week.

University of Oslo to end G4S contract over support for Israeli apartheid

In a major success for the campaign against Israeli prison contractor G4S, the University of Oslo has announced that it will terminate its contract with the company in July 2013. G4S is a private security company that provides services and equipment to Israeli prisons, checkpoints and the apartheid wall. Activists occupied G4S' London offices during Israel's assault on Gaza to highlight its role in the siege on Gaza.

Israeli arms companies forced to pull out of major aerospace convention in France

Elbit Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), two Israeli arms companies thatassist Israel with the construction of its apartheid wall and supply drones to the Israeli military, have pulled out of a major international aerospace industry convention in Toulouse, southern France. The companies were worried about the damage to their reputation and further demonstrations taking place during the convention, according to information recieved by campaigners.
