Netafim: Sustaining Israeli settlements, greenwashing apartheid and selling unsustainable agricultural technology in India

Israel's Netafim, world’s largest micro irrigation firm, is a key player in India, where it's far from the example of sustainable agriculture it allegedly champions. The same company operates in illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory (OPT), where it is also a key player in sustaining illegal settlements on stolen Palestinian land.

While its services to Israel’s illegal settlement enterprise make it blatantly complicit in Israel’s settler-colonial and apartheid regime, in India it profits off Indian public money, implementing large scale technology transfer projects, though its drip Irrigation excludes small farmers, and its technology is neither sustainable nor sound.

This report details Netafim’s operations in the OPT, followed by its operations in India.
