Axa: Divest from Israeli Apartheid!

Send a letter to AXA CEOs to demand that it divest from companies profiting from Israeli Apartheid!

On July 8th, SumOfUs published the report, “AXA: Financing war crimes,” which shows that AXA invests over $91M in Israel’s largest private security/military company, Elbit Systems, and Israel’s five main banks which operate in and serve Israel’s illegal settlements.

Elbit Systems, Bank Hapoalim, Bank Leumi, Mizrahi Tefahot, First International Bank of Israel and Israel Discount Bank all support Israel’s illegal settlements and associated infrastructure in addition to its unlawful use of armed force against Palestinians. This makes AXA complicit in serious violations of international law. It also violates AXA’s own responsible investment policies.

Israel can only maintain its regime of occupation and apartheid over the Palestinian people through support from governments and complicit companies such as AXA.

Now is the time to add your voice to strengthen to the growing global Coalition to Stop AXA’s Assistance to Israeli Apartheid. Even though AXA has taken a first step in the right direction, when one of its subsidiaries, AXA IM, divested from Elbit Systems last December, as the SumOfUs report shows, AXA is still complicit in Israeli Apartheid.

Send a letter to AXA’s CEOs in France, Germany, Switzerland, Egypt, to demand that AXA end its investments in companies violating Palestinian rights!
