Only a fraction of the hundreds of bills lawmakers in the US have introduced targeting advocacy for Palestinian rights have become law because of strong grassroots and civil liberties opposition.

  A federal district court rejected efforts by the state of Texas to evade judicial review of a law that punishes boycott advocates, and allowed a lawsuit against the anti-BDS law to proceed. 

In a huge boost for the movement for Palestinian rights, a federal judge blocked Texas’ anti-boycott law, finding it unconstitutional.
