Israel’s actions expose its escalating repression and system of apartheid

Association of 140 global political parties, including 35 parties in government, adopts BDS and calls for a military embargo on Israel until it ends its violations of Palestinian rights. This is the most significant call for sanctions against Israel to date.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu & other leading members of the Episcopal Church tell the Church's General Convention that investment in companies supporting Israel's military occupation "make the Church complicit in the injustices suffered by Palestinians." The Central Council of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people, has officially announced its support for the BDS movement and called, for the first time, on the international community to “impose sanctions on Israel” to end its ongoing, grave violations of Palestinian rights as stipulated by international law.
