PACBI Statement

The Israeli government and its lobby groups around the world have responded to the 2005 Palestinian Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS), including the academic and cultural boycott, with well-oiled propaganda, across-the-board bullying and intense repression.  In the west, nothing short of a new wave of McCarthyism is setting in, except this time around the required blind loyalty is to apartheid Israel.

PACBI Statement

3 September 2014 – The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) calls on you to cancel your collaboration [1] with the Hebrew University in the program titled “Ancient Greek Drama: Influences and Contemporary Approaches,” due to the University’s deep complicity in Israel’s occupation and violation of human rights, and to reject any support from the Embassy of Israel in Athens, particularly in light of the grave war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Israel against Palestinians in Gaza.

PACBI Statement
