Palestine- 15 March: The Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Campaign National Committee (BNC) welcomes the long overdue ruling by the Court of Justice of the European Union that Israeli products originating from Israel's colonial settlements built on Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT) do not qualify for preferential customs treatment under the EC-Israel trade agreement. [1]  

Sami Hermez Electronic Intifada 15 March 2010   On 5 March 2010, the Israeli daily Haaretz reported that producer Shuki Weiss, who has been involved in producing many of the Israeli concerts headlined by international stars in recent years, has attacked human rights activists for calling on the Pixies to cancel their 9 June concert at the Tel Aviv Fairgrounds.

Phon van den Biesen and Adri Nieuwhof, [Electronic Intifada], 10 March 2010 - On 25 February, the European Court of Justice ruled that imports manufactured in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank shouldn't benefit from a trade agreement between Israel and the European Union.  

In Palestine there lives a peace-loving people like all of us, who look forward to enjoying a life of decency and dignity. These people once had a place they called their own; the land, the peace, the environment, the natural resources and all that they possessed then.  

8 March 2010 [Real News Network] This week the Russell Tribunal on Palestine ruled in Barcelona, Spain on six questions concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.   The Tribunal's judgements are not judicially binding but are meant to examine the complicity of the European Union in perpetuating what the Tribunal called Israel's "policy of war, occupation, and colonization for 60 years."  

4 March 2010 – Dozens of students at Bethlehem University spread out through their campus today asking other students to sign a petition that calls on the university administration to ban Israeli products from their campus.  

On Saturday 27th February 2010, members and supporters of the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign took to the streets of Dublin asking consumers and retailers to boycott Israeli Apartheid products in solidarity with the Palestinian people who continue to suffer incalculable misery at the hands of the Israeli state. The action marked the beginning of international Israel Apartheid Week.

1 March 2010 – Today marks the first day of Israeli Apartheid Week in cities around the world. The week of activities, which was started by a group of activists in Toronto, Canada in 2005, has grown to become one of the main highlights of global activism in support of the rights of Palestinians, and to globalize the struggle against Israel's apartheid regime.
