Andy McKee has canceled performing in Israel.  McKee's statement was released on the official website.  PACBI welcomes any cancellation to perform in Israel regardless of the stated reasons.  The statement reads:

Hey guys. Well I’ve got some bad news, the shows this summer in Israel are canceled. I absolutely hate to have to say those words to you all as I know many of you have been waiting many months, or even years to come to a show.

Today 51 Canadian filmmakers issued a statement of protest to Hot Docs documentary film festival stating “as members of the film and arts community, we are deeply disappointed to learn that Hot Docs has decided to partner with the Israeli organization CoPro Documentary Marketing Foundation.

A 'Brand Israel' event that was due to focus on Israeli food and had been sponsored by the Israeli Embassy  has-been canceled following pressure from BDS activists in the Basque country.

The event, due to take place in Hondarribia, a town in the Basque country, was cancelled following pressure from Euskal Herria-Palestina Sarea, the Basque Palestine solidarity network, and other groups and individuals.

The event was due to feature Miller Omer Israeli chefs, Eyal Lavie and Yossi Elad Sharon Mika. Yarden Golan Heights Winery WAS Also Involved in the project.
