[The Guardian] - Exports of spare parts halted in response to Gaza Strip attacks in December-January

Britain has revoked export licences for weapons on Israeli navy missile boats because of their use during the offensive against the Gaza Strip.

The licences apparently covered spare parts for guns on the Sa'ar 4.5 ships, which reportedly fired missiles and artillery shells into the Palestinian coastal territory during the three-week war, which started in late December.

[Dan Williams, Reuters] - JERUSALEM, June 30 - Missile-firing Israeli drones unlawfully killed at least 29 Palestinian civilians during the Gaza Strip war, Human Rights Watch said on Tuesday.

Despite having advanced surveillance equipment, drone operators failed to exercise proper caution "as required by the laws of war" in verifying their targets were combatants, the New York-based monitoring group said, issuing a 39-page report citing six alleged strikes by remote-controlled aircraft.

[World Tribune] - The state-owned Israel Aerospace Industries has delivered its first batch of indigenous Kfir fighter-jets to the Colombian Air Force, Middle East Newsline reported. [Stop the Wall] - A group of French activists from the BDS France campaign held a non- violent protest against the Israeli presence  at the Paris - Le  Bourget Air Show. Le Bourget Air Show is one of the largest weapons and aerospace technology fairs in the world. The protest took place outside the Israeli pavilion, where several Israeli arms companies had come to sell their military technologies to potential European buyers.

[Haaretz] - Around 20 people protested Saturday against the opening of an Israeli pavilion at the annual Paris Airshow.

The protesters, wearing green shirts emblazoned with the words "Boycott Israel", gathered in front of the Israeli pavilion, where they distributed leaflets and chanted against the Israeli presence before being dispersed by police.

[Stop the Wall] - Protests marked Caterpillar Corporation’s annual shareholder’s meeting in Chicago on June 10th. A number of peace and Palestine solidarity groups gained access to the meeting itself through the purchase of corporate shares, while others rallied outside the building, educating passersby about the crimes Occupation forces are committing with Caterpillar equipment. A supporting protest was also held outside Caterpillar offices in Portland Oregon (USA).
