The Palestinian Union of Workers’ Unions has called for a comprehensive boycott of Israeli products effective immediately.

Any product with a non-Israeli alternative should be substituted as an act of defiance and protest against the Israeli atrocities in the Gaza Strip, said a statement from the union.

It also called on the Palestinian government to encourage local production for any products without a viable alternative.

It called on those who import Israeli products to stop purchasing as soon as possible and seek for local alternatives.
