Hello,
My name is ____________, and I'm calling as part of the BDS movement’s Global Week of Action to pressure CAF to end its complicity in Israel’s crimes against Palestinians. I would like to complain about CAF and the grave violations of its own human rights due diligence policy.
I also wish to remind you that in September 2025, CAF was included in the United Nations database of companies implicated in activities in Israel’s illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory.
I understand you are not personally responsible for this, but I kindly ask you to make a note and pass my complaint on to CAF's management.
CAF is complicit in maintaining and expanding Israel’s illegal Jerusalem Light Rail’s Red Line and is building the new Green Line. These lines connect illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank to West Jerusalem. Israeli colonial settlements are built on stolen Palestinian land and sustained through the ethnic cleansing and forcible displacement of Palestinians. They constitute war crimes under international law.
Recent international law developments with regard to Israel's atrocity crimes against Palestinians have made clear that corporations implicated in the commission of international crimes connected to Israel's genocide, unlawful occupation, racial segregation, and apartheid regime are all complicit and must be held accountable. Direct complicity includes infrastructure support. The corporations, as well as their boards of directors and executives, may face criminal liability for this complicity.
Recently, a coalition of civil society organizations filed a criminal complaint with Spain's Public Prosecutor's Office against CAF's Board of Directors for their role in maintaining Israel's regime of colonial oppression, and the Public Prosecutor’s Office announced it will open an investigation.
I am calling today to share my shock that for years, CAF's board has ignored these demands. Instead of disengaging, it has expanded its role — even as Israel carries out genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
Please let CAF's management know that everywhere in the world, people of conscience will oppose CAF's participation in any tender project and will support all peaceful and legal actions aiming to end CAF's complicity in Israel's atrocity crimes against Palestinians.
