Activists protesting against FANUC

#StopFANUCNow Global Day of Action 12 February 2026

The action, coordinated by ZENKO (Japan), protested FANUC’s role in Israel’s ongoing genocide and apartheid against Palestinians.

FANUC is a Japanese robotics company deeply complicit in Israel’s war crimes in Gaza, the West Bank and elsewhere. It provides Israeli military company Elbit Systems with crucial robots used to make 155mm projectiles, Israel’s most commonly used ammunition, particularly in its ongoing genocide.

155mm projectiles are cluster munitions and one of the world’s most indiscriminate and inhumane lethal weapons, exploding into 2000 pieces of shrapnel upon impact. Israel has fired hundreds of thousands of these unguided shells on Palestinians in Gaza.

FANUC is knowingly selling robots that enable genocide and other atrocity crimes.

The BDS movement applauds these activists and calls for continued public pressure worldwide on FANUC to stop supplying Elbit with robots — and end its complicity in genocide.
