The BNG always took a clearly opposed position to any kind of national oppression.

Israel, a confessional state with a multinational origin, settled in Palestine, practices an specific form of oppression --called Zionism--, whose aim is the appropriation of the territory and the eradication of its people by successive ethnic cleansing operations.

The global response to this terrible practice, contrary to international law, became reality in 2005 with the beginning of the BDS campaign (Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel), a civil initiative that aims to restore the Palestinian people's rights and to call for compliance with the international law.

The BNG joins this civil society initiative against Zionist oppression, supporting the Palestinian people's rights and the recovery of its territory. It encourages to all the members of the party to practice this boycott, requesting not to buy any product labelled as "Made in Israel" (bar code number 729).
