Reebok is under pressure. When Runners for Justice in Palestine recently took a letter from 367 Palestinian sports teams to Reebok HQ in Boston, Reebok hurriedly locked the doors!
The message from Palestinian teams is clear: Reebok must end its sponsorship of the Israel Football Association (IFA) or face a global boycott.
The IFA is directly complicit in Israel’s decades-long apartheid regime and, more recently, its Gaza genocide. This is what Reebok is sponsoring.

Reebok knows it is on the wrong side of history. In late September, Reebok actually called for its logo to be removed from the IFA. Reebok immediately caved to pressure from Israel, backtracking on its decision and saying it continues to “proudly” sponsor the IFA despite its well-documented complicity in Israel’s crimes against Palestinians.
The IFA includes in its official leagues teams based in illegal Israeli settlements on occupied Palestinian land and advocates, together with the Israeli government, to maintain them.
Israel’s national team, the public face of the IFA, has dedicated matches, and IFA clubs have sent care packages, to Israeli soldiers committing genocide in Gaza.
The IFA has also created the “Reservist League,” 32 teams and hundreds of soldier players who have served in Israel’s Gaza genocide.
The fragile ceasefire in Gaza, while bringing desperately needed relief to Palestinians in Gaza, will not end Israel’s genocide or its 77-year apartheid regime oppressing all Palestinians.
Only by holding complicit companies like Reebok accountable can we help end Israel’s grave crimes against Palestinians.
We know BDS campaigns work. They forced PUMA to end its sponsorship of the IFA and US running shoe brand Saucony to withdraw as sponsor of Israel’s so-called Jerusalem marathon.

Get creative. Organize a mock football match or sporting event at a Reebok shop. Use Reebok’s store locators (United States, South Africa) or search for Reebok on a map app to find shops in your area.

Reebok sponsors teams, athletes and artists. Check to see if local teams are sponsored by Reebok and urge them to drop Reebok as long as it sponsors the Israel Football Association.
