The European Society of Criminology voted by a significant majority to require scholars from illegal settlement institutions to indicate in their affiliations such location in accordance with international law and to condemn Israel’s atrocity crimes against Palestinians, including its war crimes, crimes against humanity, and ongoing genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in Gaza.

The American Historical Association (AHA) and the Modern Language Association (MLA) overwhelmingly voted in favor of a joint resolution condemning repression in the US and the silencing of academic dissent against the ongoing “US-sponsored Israeli genocide in Gaza,” which has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians.

The Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) welcomes the more than 350 academics from 20 Latin American countries who have committed to taking effective measures to end complicity in Israel's regime of military occupation, apartheid, and genocide against the indigenous Palestinian people.

The South African Medical Association (SAMA) has voted to end all ties with the deeply complicit Israeli Medical Association (IMA). SAMA further calls for the IMA to be suspended from the World Medical Association.

Over the last 19 years, the BDS movement has built a massive network worldwide, supported by trade unions, farmers’ coalitions, and racial, social, gender and climate justice movements, together representing tens of millions.
